The End of the Zodiac Mystery by Mike Wakshull: zodiacsolved.com/"Gary L. Stewart, co-author of The Most Dangerous Animal of All, Searching for My Father and Finding the Zodiac Killer, began the search for his father, who had cruelly abandoned him as a child." Cruelly? How so? Seems to me as though Earl Van Best Jr. may have thought his son would be better off with someone else raising him. I could be wrong, but if Van Best was so "cruel" and was a serial killer, wouldn't have been easier to just kill his infant son and hide the body somewhere? Anyways, Wakshull, a forensic document examiner, was the man who had determined that Van Best's handwriting was a match to the Zodiac letters. Of course, it was later discovered that the handwriting being compared was not even that of Earl Van Best. But Wakshull still wrote a book on the subject. Why? Why would a forensic document examiner write a book after Stewart's book had come out? This makes no sense to me.
