In this 1981 book, The Fish Is Red: The Story of the Secret War Against Castro, it states that a group of Cuban exiles had a company in Miami called Zodiac, which turned out to be a CIA front. Hmmm. This is probably nothing but I am going to see if I can find out anything further.

Yes, do find out what that is totally about. We need that info. I know something about the whole Florida thing that has to do with the Zodiac Case. This might be the connection to tie that up. I don't know, but I've known about the florida connection to the Zodiac case since day one. I just never knew what it was about. So this might help us make more sense out of all of this.
I keep thinking there is an "Operation Zodiac" that somehow someone connected to it went renegade and became a loose cannon and a nightmare for the feds. This could be the tie-in. I wonder if any of that is online to read. I could probably just scan it and see if there is anything in there that "rings a bell" with me.

Another possible Florida connection is that someone claiming to be Zodiac, but calling themself "Scorpion," send a few letters and ciphers to John Walsh.

Maybe I should glance at the ciphers. no one thinks it was the Zodiac, do they?

I think that it could have been the same person that wrote the Zodiac letters. From what I have seen, the ciphers sent to Jon Walsh were a lot different than the Zodiac ciphers. I found a couple of the letters and ciphers online, but could not find them all. I think there were five letters in total if I'm not mistaken.

"If" I ever get time... (nearly impossible to give all these cases time)... I'll try to look at those 'Scorpion" letters and ciphers.
This RED FISH I interested in to find out why the name of this book is titled "The Red Fish". I'm assuming that name was given because there is something going on which gives us the basis of why this is about RED FISH. That interests me, especially, being in Florida. Again, I have no time to read this book right now, but maybe I can scan for some basics.
