Mower was a strange person. He joined the Minutemen when he was still in high school and climbed the ranks rather quickly, so he was obviously an intelligent guy. He became an FBI informant, but part of me believes he was feeding them false information at first an using them go gather intel for the Minutemen.

I got to thinking. Dennis Mower was very young when he was in the Minutemen and KKK and everything he was doing. Remembering off the top of my head here... He was a minister/pastor as a teenage, wasn't he 16? He formed his own groups and led them when a teenager or very young. He was involved with a lot of older radical/racist people. He knew and was close to Sam Bowers.
People might think he LOOKED to young to be "the Killer" (Zodiac), but think about this.
Zodiac said he did not look the same when killing as he did otherwise. And think about this, his father was an actor, so it is very possible Dennis Mower knew exactly how to use makeup etc to disguise himself, as did all the Hollywood actors. If this is true, which why wouldn't it be, then Dennis Mower could look any age and any way he so chose if he were the Zodiac killer. And who is going to suspect the Zodiac of being a teenager in costume and movie makeup?
He knew everything there was to know about Troy Houghton, and all those Troy clues in the Zodiac communications.
He was living all over the place.
He was an FBI informant... definitely a way out of anything he did
