Was The Zodiac A Gold Miner?
I keep seeing so many clues in the Z case that keeps pointing to someone involved with Gold Mining. I've seen this for a long time now, and the other day I was digging around in some news article and ran into even more mining clues, and then found some new info I had not known before, and this new info totally hooks up with the rest of the mining clues I had found years ago. It is really starting hooking theses mining clues all together, not only with each other, but in the Zodiac Codes and even on a map where some other Zodiac clues are, and tying into some of the REAL Zodiac information that is proven and well know fact in police reports, docs, and just the basic case info.
I even could loosely tie it to several of the suspects. But I don't believe anything by "loose connections"; loose connections can be hooked to anyone. I want real substantial info that makes anyone think without a doubt that the info is definitely tied in to the KNOWN FACTS of the zodiac case documents and police reports. When that happens, THEN, I'll pretty much believe it to be true... sometimes... haha... with cointelpro involved in all of this mess you just really have to wonder what is really true in those reports and what is not, but usually they are not lying in the fed docs when sending in info to be processed, so I "usually" believe that kind of in.
but just for starters....
I have found so many clues in the z communications, cards etc, that are Mining Clues. we have the Eureka Card, which of course we all know that Eureka means "I found it" and it was used by gold miners as an expression when they hit the gold/motherlode. We also have the MINER guy on the dragon card. We also have the diving/miner's magnet in that Eureka card. And a few days ago I found a mine up the road from Hartnell / Shepard Attack... same road... about 25 miles up... and part of the mine has the Zodiac sill between the two mining pits. It was the biggest gold mine in california, totally connected to the Bay Area Club and was in the news constantly for pollution issues. And it was owned by Homestake Mining Company, who was by the way owned by George Hearst, grandfather of Patty Hearst.( hmmm pretty easy to see just how much money her family had).
The name of the mine was changed to McLaughlin Mine, named after the wife of the chairman of the Homestake Mining Company. I have all of this info over on the Gyke randon thread because I bumped into this Mining company in an article written by gyke that showed up in the papers of South dakota, as that Mining company also is huge in South Dakota... so when I found the Mining Company article I thought I better see what was going on with that, because I have all of these other Mining Clues with Zodiac. I am NOT a Gyke person but never have ruled him out, but I actually have other suspects I research. But in finding that article I gave the info to the gyke researchers and thought maybe they could use it. Then I dug the whole thing apart and found all this other mining stuff in California in Napa county that I do think might really connect up with the other mining clues I keep seeing in the Zodiac codes etc.
There are a lot of TROY WEIGHT codes in the zodiac coding, which ends up being troy ounce. I can't explain all of that coding right now but a lof of it is already done on some other threads. I'll get the links on here tomorrow. I use to think all of this mining stuff had to do with Troy Houghton Minuteman, as he had a Mining and Blasting company and a mine. He went and mined a lot; and there are a ton of mining clues in Zodiac that seemed to point to Troy Houghton, and I have not ruled out that is isn't pointing to him; but I really am not positive about that...but so many of the coded z clues do point to him. I keep him in mind when digging into this new Gold info I dug up a few days ago. I will also keep gyke in mind too, but personally it might point to someone totally different. But no matter WHO it is pointing to, it is all pointing to someone with a MINING connection. So why would Zodiac have all of those mining clues? And whoever it is, they give these mining clues on purpose. it is not just flukey, it is in there on purpose. why is the question?
I personally know a lot about mining and have a great source of help on anything Mining related. I have a geologist who will help me, someone close to me, and I've been around mining myself, so I know where to look for info. I'll be digging into this in the next day or so.

and here is something I will be checking also. Judith Hakari's body was found at an old Gold Mine. hmm that is flukey. I'll post more on this post later. just notes, I'll really dig later... judith hakar found weimar, PLACER COUNTY... interesting, placer is a gold term. weimar -
Hakari’s body was buried in a white canvas laundry bag manufactured specifically for the San Joaquin school district. why is the bag from san Joaquin county wonder if she had that and he took it, or if he had that. why did he take her to PLACER county to a MINE. could this be a z victim? sexually assaulted? but who knows. we know she lived by Bennelack. and we know they are looking at that one. why? _________________ The Institute also includes Weimar College, and Weimar Academy, a boarding school for high school students, both associated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. (Interesting another SDA clue, IF this is a z murder)It is also home to the Weimar Hills Public School, which offers grades 4th through 8th. The Weimar post office opened in 1866. An explanation of the town's name comes from the Geisendorfer family; descendants of George Geisendorfer, founder of the town. George Geisendorfer was born in the area of Weimar, Germany. Many of the original inhabitants of Weimar (New England Mills) were also of German descent. Members of the town, and the Geisendorfer family, have testified that George Geisendorfer himself decided to rename the town “Weimar” when the post office rejected the original name of New England Mills.[3] there are only 1,392 mines in Placer County, California . hahah so I chose the homestake name and the Weimar ones. does not mean it is one of those though. These are Weimar named Mines
1 - The Weimar is a iron mine located in Placer county, California this one by Snooks road. also out there is pine road, Hi pines ranch roads, Digger Pine rd, High acres road, Eden Valley(intersting) this is east of Auburn going over 80 to Nevada state. hmm wonder if gold was also mined there, I'll have to find out. might be placer or a wash there with gold 2 - The Weimar Deposit is an iron mine located in Placer county, California. East of Auburn not too far from #1 but close to the 80 freeway that goes to nevada not far from Heavenly View on the other side of the freeway. hmm iron mines.. gold might be secondary there, I'll have to see if there is any reason to be there for gold... but then again, "IF" someone is at mines that are NOT GOLD, then that tells me they are not just a hobby gold miner, they are most likely a professional to know about all these other minerals with the mines. Not just anyone goes to a mine to mine other metals and minerals. I geologist would. someone familiar with crystals and minerals would. but many mines have gold as secondary and still is a lot there for a person panning for a hobby. because the weimar area where judith hakari's body is found, there is a bottle dump.. so maybe the person knew about it from bottle digging. metal detecting around the old buildings? I'll have to really check out the mines. 3 - weimar, California - MINE AND DIGGINS... This one is right off 80 highway and on Ponderosa Way. weimar, California includes 8,424 nearby mines. Weimar (formerly New England Mills and Weimer) is an unincorporated community in Placer County California located in the Sacramento area. Weimar is located 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south-southwest of Colfax.By car Weimar is about one hour from Reno Nevada and about one hour northeast of Sacramento California on east I-80. It is directly adjacent to Interstate 80. These are Homestake named mines
1 -The Homestake is a gold mine located in Placer county, California - in the tahoe national forest by a place called four acres by three queens mine road and mesquito rd. south side of forest hill by auburn 2 - The Homestake is a gold mine located in Placer county, California another close to the first one, same area 3 - The Homestake is a gold mine located in Placer county, California by Yankee Jims road, on the north side of forest hill by auburn 4 - The Home Stake is a gold mine located in Placer county, California . this one is way out ramsey crossing road still in place county, but way the heck out there. ________________ and then remember the bottle floating in stockton, that is San Joaquin county. A note (dated feb 2, 1973) found in a bottle was found floating in the Delta by Paradise Point near Stockton, California . There was a note in the bottle saying it was from Zodiac and something about saying the war is over. I need to go through that also. MODESTO BEE_________________________ my mind is working overtime, but now I'm thinking of the Genny? Cream Ale bottle left at the scene of z victim. is that Jenny Lind. that was my first thought crea male . acre . male . care male race male .. but I have not really looked at it... just the place jenny lind popped into my head as I'm familiar with that place. isn't jenny also a goat? I think it is . Don't pay any attention to this stuff, I'm just brainstorming and making notes to look at later. I'll sort it all out tomorrow.

just going to post a few notes to myself so I don't forget. I'm tired it's 1am... I'll come back through here tomorrow and find all this stuff and explain in.
Check out the mine where hakari was found.
search gov mining docs for registrations
see what other mines are owned by Homestake Mining Company/Hearst.
Check Shasta County and Tuolumne mines ( ask my geo person for a list of all lost mines)
what other bodies were ever found at any mines.
find out where that diving/mining magnet came from. I think I remember that back years ago it said BUY SELL TRADE 707 area code. All that info is in my old computer.
707 area code covers 9 counties then, and that diving / mining magnet came someone from there. I have always thought that was an advertising give-a-away item. we use to use them all the time to drag the black sands out of the dredge sluice riffles or pan riffles. or to make stuff when sending it up from underwater. I know people keep calling it a pen light, but I really don't believe that is what it is. have to locate where that came from. ( it also might have been stolen too, for all I know and then sent in) or found. or taken from another victim we do not know about?
anyone in this case in anyway connected to Gold mining or anything to do with GOLD? I keep thinking I remember there was someone but can't remember right off now. so I have to figure that out. I know TROY HOUGHTEN was, but there was someone else I think.
also Zodiac has a BLAST... that is a mining term also. miners Blast all the time. Miners also have access to explosives. so if zodiac is a miner he/they would have access to explosives and know how to use them and of course they would have a BIG BLAST.
and something about that dragon card.... your ass is a dragon hahah, yah I bet your "ass" is a DRAGON haha . and who is riding on the dragon; in more ways than one, and none of them meaing dragging....haha that's z humor for sure.
just brainstorming here.... and making notes...
I just WASHED my pen, and I can't do a thing with it. more mining stuff. I'll work this out later. washed and thing... (notes to myself)
note: penny... inocent... penny... another gold term.
the personal add coded out to GOLD BARS.. and now that would make sense too.
check around Mclaughlin... that WAS cinnabar, gold was later. Mercury. oh, mercury. hmmm Woden was equated with Mercury, the god of eloquence (among other things). ... This may also be a reference to Odin, who is in Norse mythology the founder of the runic alphabets, and the gloss a continuation of the practice of equating Odin with Mercury found as early as Tacitus. so there is another NORSE thought. hmm I need to look at the SLA card again and see if anything else Gold or mercury going on in there. well oh crap, SLA kidnapped Patty Hearst, and the mine is a mercury mine, it is an ODIN mine, a mercury mine, norse. and patty hearst grandfather owned the whole mining company. who owned the mine where HAKARI was found? crapola, I really need to see which mines in shasta and tuolumne they owned. and where out by 132? I think there was an old strip mine out there ages ago.
I'm so tired but going to go check out something...

I don't know what this is, but it is about the Mclaughlin mine in Napa County 25 miles up the same road from the hartnell/shepard attack.
in this the name of SCRIBNER. I remember that name connected somehow to one of the z suspects I was looking at. I can't remember who, but I'll look for it.
The Knoxville Mining District, The McLaughlin Gold Mine, Northern California, Volume VII, 2000 Jack Thompson, "General Manager, McLaughlin Mine, 1981-1988" Twyla Thompson, "County Supervisor, Yolo County, 1975-1985" Avery Tindell, "Capay Valley Environmentalist" John Turney, "McLaughlin Metallurgist: Pioneering Autoclaving for Gold" Della Underwood, "Knoxville Rancher, McLaughlin Mine Surveyor" Walter Wilcox, "County Supervisor, Lake County, 1979-1995" Peter Scribner, "Boyhood at the Knoxville Mine, 1941-1944"

Bay Delta Region (Region 3) Napa and Yolo counties north of Lake Berryessa Access: Accessed from the north in Napa County via Highway 29 to Lower Lake to Morgan Valley Road past the old Homestake Mine site where it becomes the Berryessa-Knoxville Road in Napa County (approximately 17 miles). Also accessed on the southern side via Highway 128, east (Napa County) through Rutherford to Berryessa-Knoxville Road (approximately 23 miles) or Highway 128 west through Winters (approximately 29 miles). The Red Dots are approximate, not totally exact, but they show where the mine is in relation to the Hartnell/Shepard Attach both on the same road. It is about 25 miles up the road from the hartnell attack haha KNOXVILLE... that is funny too... ft knox is the federal reserve with all bullion and gold ( The United States Bullion Depository, often known as Fort Knox,) probably means nothing to anyone else. but I think the Z hate rich people and Patty Heart family was definitely rich and of course fort knox is the fed reserve, so lets go kidnap the daughter of the guy who has all the money. that would be patty hearst. then he kills stine in an ELITE neighborhood, (however I think there is more reason than that) oh wow just had another thought, but don't pay attention to it, just a thought. Darlene Ferrin is suppose to know about the counterfeit plates, hmm isn't that kinda like having gold haha (and the people who stole the plates out of Modesto, and decided they needed to kill somoene in the process. yah you, no one has forgotten about that, just in case you read here)

Just woke up and doing some more brainstorming.
If Zodiac did have a "mining connection" and if the diving/mining magnet clue in the Eureka card with the 707 on it(I think I am remembering this right) then maybe he has ties to other mines there and not only the Mclaughlin Mine owned by Homestake Mining Company. So I decided to look up what other mines are in Napa County with the 707 area code.
here they are. and quite a few them (Other than the McLaughlin Mine) are also owned by the Homestake Mining Company. There are probably other "lost" mines as well but these are ones I can find right how. If I find more later, I will add them in this post.
What I notice is, all of the KNOX mines were located in 1990. year of the Eureka Card mailing. hmmm. Homestake Mining Company owned a few other other mines they located in 1989... but when all the Know mines were located it was 1990. And same year, up pops Zodiac again mailing the Eureka card with the mining magnet.
Being all these mines are called Know(then with a number after them, let me see if they are all there in Knoxville Road by the McLaughlin Mine. McLaughlin had 2 open pits with the Zodiac sill inbetween them. I wonder if the other Knox mines are placer, drift, or what. I need to look at that.
I also wonder how many employees they had when they opened up all these mines. Maybe someone "came back" to the area who is connected to working for the Mining Company. Just a bit flukey the eureka card shows up at the same time all of these other mines are located. Do they work for the Mining Company? or are they MAD at the Mining Company and decided to send cards again as a reminder that something is going on they do not like. They have Sam's post box keys out of Eureka, and a mining magnet out of 707 area code, somehow they are connected to that area. Eureka is also the 707 area code.

Looking at this article The KNOX mines were basically cinnabar mines, just as I had thought... later they mined the gold. It seems that Rutherford was a boomtown because of this, so we need to see if there was still a town of Rutherford in 1990. Was someone connected to that town. And I am sure they would have mining supplies, wherever it is. Also need to find out where the HOBBY MINING areas are up around the Knox mines. A place where a lot of tourist type people would go to placer areas to pan gold.
Mercury mining in Napa CountyREBECCA YERGER Apr 13, 2013 While the California gold strike played a significant role in Napa County history, it was the discovery and mining of local cinnabar deposits that exerted a greater local influence. Beginning in the mid-1800s, this unassuming reddish-brown ore and its refinement into quicksilver, aka. mercury, generated a thriving and prosperous Napa County industry for decades. In the 1860s, two pairs of local prospectors, A.J. Bailey and J. Cyrus, discovered significant cinnabar ore deposits in the eastern hills near Calistoga. The Phoenix Mining Company, the first cinnabar mining company in Napa County, was established on that site in 1861. A second prospecting duo, Seth Dunham and L.D. Jones, discovered cinnabar about 14 miles north of Berryessa in the northeastern corner of the county. The resulting mining company was originally known as Excelsior, then Redington and finally Knoxville.Over the next decade, many other cinnabar deposits were found throughout Napa County. With names like Red Elephant, Great Western, Ida Easley, Aetna, Ivanhoe and Mammoth, they were located primarily in the north, northeast and northwest hillside regions of Napa County
A second sizable cinnabar deposit was found in the western hills between Oakville and Rutherford. The La Joya Mine, later the Summit Quicksilver Mining Company, was established in 1865 west of Oakville. Two more mines in this vicinity were the Oakville and Bella Union. In 1868, they merged to become the Bella Oak Mine, the namesake of the Oakville-Rutherford lane. With all these nearby mines, Rutherford became a cinnabar boomtown. It was once a bustling community in the days when the raw ore and refined mercury were loaded onto the trains at the Rutherford depot, and workers needed housing and goods. To produce quicksilver, or mercury, the extracted cinnabar was first coarsely crushed and then loaded into retorts, large metal kettles that were heated to convert the cinnabar into mercury. At first, the kettles were open, which allowed the poisonous fumes to escape freely. Soon, the vegetation nearby died and the soil became barren. Eventually, condensers were placed over the retorts to capture the gases, but the odor of the refining process could still be detected for miles. The finished product was poured into large, nonbreakable flasks for transportation to markets throughout the nation. The cinnabar operations were financed by the sales of stock, and many fortunes and community improvements were made due to the stock dividends. The list of the shareholders are those now considered to be the “movers and shakers” from Napa County’s past. Those dividends were generated in part by the great industrial demand for quicksilver. It was a key element in the amalgamation process used to recover gold and silver from their raw ore. It was also used in the manufacturing of fulminating caps for explosives, as well as in the production of drugs and paints. In later years, it was used in weaponry production, heat gauges, dental fillings and early radio electronics. Between 1864 and 1903, Napa County was one of California’s leading quicksilver producers. By the end of World War I, a total of $15.2 million worth of quicksilver had been produced in Napa County. The Knoxville mine, the third largest mercury producer in California, survived longer than all the other local cinnabar operations. During World War I and II, the Knoxville profitably produced large quantities of mercury for weapons.
While cinnabar, its mining and processing has been proven to be toxic, at one time it mades its own contribution to the growth of Napa County. napavalleyregister.com/lifestyles/real-napa/columnists/rebecca-yerger/mercury-mining-in-napa-county/article_95ecd9de-a3ce-11e2-8bbb-0019bb2963f4.html

I need to look at the SLA card again... SLA is norse. So is mercury = Odin. and mercury in a mine does KILL. so SLA does = kill. the mine is owned by Hearst. SLA kidnaps Patty Hearst the granddaughter or George Heart, who is the father of William Heart(only child), who is Patty's father. So the mine must have been inherited by Patty's father? William Heart also owned newspapers. The Knickerbocker in New York. He also use to own the BEE, including Modesto Bee. I don't know which others he owned, I need to look. Knox is like Ft Knox= federal reserve Depository
The Federal Reserve System, also known as "The Fed," is America's central bank. That makes it the most powerful single actor in the U.S. economy and thus the world. It is so complicated that some consider it a "secret society" that controls the world's money. So did Zodiac decide that William Randolph Heart is "Mr Money Bag" and had too much control so they targeted him, kidnapped his daughter, and demanded he feed the people and whatever else it was they decided. And funny that Patty was out robbing banks with them. Now the question is this... would SLA write their own Z letter, exposing themselves as Zodiac. I doubt it. So then if not, who wrote the letter about SLA? But then again, maybe they did not care and did it anyway. However, this is really flukey, but somewhere within all of this flukiness we have a MIND(the mind of Z) who clicks on all of this stuff and thinks this way. It is like that with all of the communications. They all point to "someone" but I can never tell if they are talking about "themselves" or pointing at someone else. Sometimes it seems the letter writer is someone exposing Z. Sometimes it seems it is Z, and other times I wonder if it is not COINTELPRO. So many radicals out there at the time, it is very hard to figure out just who is writing this stuff. Another reason I think there is more than one person involved in all of this. We do know for sure(from fed docs) that COINTELPRO was writing a LOT of fake letters, messages, ads etc and pretending they were part of these groups, trying to start "wars" between members of certain groups, and at the same time getting the public to turn against any of these groups agendas.
Why would someone mention SLA? Why would someone mention KKK... and obviously these are to extreme groups at opposite ends of the spectrum. who is writing this stuff. It makes no sense. And now we have all this mining, knox, rich white elite Hearst stuff going on. but then mention SLA which is the exact opposite. Zodiac can't be BOTH, so is this COINTELPRO in here mixing all this up and writing this stuff? or is it someone in the mix of all these groups who is trying to write letters to "tell on them" Who the hell is writing this stuff?
Not everyone knows that Hearst also has a castle up in shasta county far norcal, up on Mccloud lake. now I have two people up in the shasta area who are on my list. One is totally connected to Darlen Ferrin, and the other is totally connected to Troy Houghton. So probably more flukey crap but I need to check it out. why were they up in shasta county. one had relatives so that makes sense, but the other I don't know why they were here.

I know this is crazy, but I just can't help remembering Dennis Rader/BTK keeps mentioning THE MOTHERLODE... What the heck is he talking about? Motherlode is the huge ore deposit. Well who is that? it is definitely a mining term. He keeps popping up all over with crazy sayings and he definitely KNOWS something about Zodiac. In his letters to me they are all coded and structured just like Zodiac. Yes, he probably studied Zodiac, but he's in a prison cell remembering all of this as he writes out coded letters, and arranging stuff in them and on the envelopes like Zodiac. He also was over in Michigan a lot. you would never ever think of him as a RADICAL... but who knows, maybe he was. I can't exclude him as PART of "the group" either. He most like just inserted himself into this? however, I really have to wonder about that.

also, there are mining claim symbols in that 340. Noticed that right off the first time I looked at it. And they are symbols that most people would not even know, unless they are a geologist or around mining. I'll try to get them posted on here. I'll have to go through the 340 and pull them off of there. I had noticed the dip, strike, prospect, down opening, up opening etc... also magnetic north makes sense. all stuff a geologist/pro-mining person uses. and of course, BLAST. Eureka, ore, troy weight, inocent=penny(penny weight) all these mining terms. the mining magnet, the miner, ounce/oz... just way way too much mining stuff going on.
well how about we add this mining term to the list... SHAFT... he's going to get the SHAFT LOL
okay I found the Zodiac "sill" at the Mclaughlin Mine on Knoxville road... but I wonder if there is a ZODIAC MINE somewhere, I'll look. I bet there is.

oh boy, those in Inyo County ZODIAC MINES are not that far from TROY HOUGHTON. let me try to get a map. Name: Troy J Houghton Birth Date: 21 Dec 1955 Phone Number: 938-8605 Address: PO Box 116, Big Pine, CA, 93513-0116 [PO Box 32, Big Pine, CA, 93513-0032 (1995)] [440 W Crocker Ave, Big Pine, CA, 93513-2031 (1993)] [440 W Crocker Ave, Big Pine, CA, 93513-2031 (1995)] ZODIAC #3 is a closed mining claim in Inyo, California. Ownership and use of this claim is overseen by the Bureau of Land Management's Ridgecrest Field Office under the serial number CAMC129748. The last action for this claim occurred on January 13, 1995. Information on the claim was last updated on November 22, 2019. This is a LODE Claim.
this is one of the Zodiac Investment Wanderer's claims
Big Pine is where Troy Houghton and his wife Bettie lived. That area is full of Zodiac Mine names.
There are a ton of mines out in that area names ZODIAC. Surely Troy Houghton knew that as he is a miner and has a mine. Where exactly is his mine? let me go find out.
This map is Troy Houghton's address in Big Pine. The other place is the Zodiac Mine #3. I wonder if Troy's mine is out in that area?
I know he was back in San Diego in 1961, they moved back to San Diego for awhile... Gee he is on my radar. I need more info. let me go dig. someoone might be trying to FRAME him, i don't know. I need more info

Coso Mining District - By Coso Junction on the map. This is where the Zodiac Mines are located, or some of them.
I wonder if TROY HOUGHTON had a claim in this area, if so should be in the Ridgecrest BLM office records.
let me see if I can find it. Brought part of Ophion's post over here from the 'Troy Houghten Thread ***Troy and Bettie Houghton were married in 1954 while he was a service-station attendant and she an art student in Los Angeles. Soon, Troy was on his way to the Panamint Mountains on the west edge of Death Valley, intending to prospect for uranium. Their interest turned to tungsten soon after their arrival in the mountains. At the time, the government was paying a good price for tungsten, but by the time they had mined a sizable amount and were ready to sell, the price had dropped to unprofitable depths. Their many months in the wilderness had gone almost for naught. They earned enough to pay for their bread and butter, but little more. The Houghton's moved back to Los Angeles in 1956 and Troy did some part-time work with a UCLA geologist before leaving again for the mountains with Bettie, this time to mine for silver and lead. A flash flood from a cloudburst washed out their camp, destroying much of their equipment. This time the Houghton's abandoned the mining business for good. [Soon afterward] Troy had become interested in the need, as he puts it, "to establish an underground army ahead of the Communist take-over." In 1961, after they had settled in San Diego, Bettie said, the newspapers, not Troy, informed Bettie of the nature of Troy's new interest -- guerrilla warfare and the Minutemen."**** so Troy did some part time work with a UCLA geologist... now this makes sense because like I had said, anyone mining for anything other than gold is usually a professional geologist or is with one. Most hobby miners mine only for gold, or they might go look for crystals. So makes sense how Troy could know so much about other metals etc and mine them. So they went to the Panamint Mountains, I need to find that, west side of Death Valley going to mine for Uranium, and tungsten.
ok that gives me clues to help find his mine Panamint Mountains west side of Death Valley, Uranium and Tungsten. let me make a few maps to show you where the two are _______________________________- mining claims near the coso junction by the Zodiac Investment Wanderer. 346 nearby claims 49 active and 297 closed 71 nearby mines 15 occurrences 22 prospects 34 producers. Zodiac Investment Wanderer302 East Carson Street Suite 520 Las Vegas , Nevada Corporation There are tons of Zodiac Mines in this area, and it is the same area Troy Houghton went to mine, Somewhere in Paramint Mountains. Paramint Mounts are all through where I have the Blue arrows. And the Zodiac mines are scattered all through there also. Troy must have known about the Zodiac Mines, and he might have even been mining at one? Who was his geoloist friend? Did he have mines all over. Could he be the person who owns the Zodiac investment wandering company? They have mines all over.

I was going through more old Zodiac News Articles and I just came across two articles that are placed in the news right next to MINING articles or photos. one is only a photo with no article and nothing anywhere on the page that goes with it. It is just hooked on to the Zodiac Article. Kind of strange. Then I run into another article a year before that has a MINING article hooked right next to it... This is kinda weird. Now if I keep on finding more mining articles hooked to the Zodiac articles, I'm really going to have to wonder if the investigators new Zodiac was a miner or connected to mining in some way. I'll list in this post, links to any articles that I find and are hooked next to Mining articles, ads, photos etc. If there get to be quite a few, going to have to assume investigators think Zodiac is a miner or connected to mining. this just can't keep happening over and over and not make me go HMMMMM . Right now I have two articles like that, let's see if I bump into any more. I guess I will have to take a day and go back through all the news pages and see if any more MINING articles are next to the Z articles. If there gets to be many more then that is pretty telling that the feds are letting Z know something. I'll add the links here. 1) News Article Cheri Jo Bates Letters & Desk Poem 1970theslaughterhouse.freeforums.net/thread/457/news-article-cheri-bates-letters2) News Article- Belli Caller Not Zodiac 1969theslaughterhouse.freeforums.net/thread/458/article-belli-caller-zodiac-october

and here is something I will be checking also.
" The war is over, thank God. Please help, (is that a comma there?)me. Am still The Zodiac(capitals) and going to kill a baby. P.S. Help! Save the world."MODESTO BEEStill The Zodiac. hmmm... Still.... interresting choice of words... I've seen that before. also being The Zodiac is capitalized is interesting. I'll work on this more later. baby might be child... is there a murder victim with the last name CHILD oh a KID. who is this. If there really is a comma after Please help... then the word me, is alone and is ID'ing this person. "someone" out there knows who "me" is. Why leave that on Paradise Point? I really wonder what kind of a bottle that note was in. Was it old? from a bottle digging place? we really need to see the original note, see the layout, and how words might be running up and down, connected, set apart, etc. Type written notes leave out so much . We need the original. _________________________ my mind is working overtime, but now I'm thinking of the Genny? Cream Ale bottle left at the scene of z victim. is that Jenny Lind. that was my first thought crea male . acre . male . care male race male .. but I have not really looked at it... just the place jenny lind popped into my head as I'm familiar with that place. isn't jenny also a goat? I think it is . Don't pay any attention to this stuff, I'm just brainstorming and making notes to look at later. I'll sort it all out tomorrow.

I just posted this over on Hakari's thread but I want to add it here also, just so I don't forget if there is anything that all ties in later....
_____________________________
I just bumped into this. I'm a bit familiar with the Keddie murders (1981) but had forgot all about the BOTTLE dump where one of the victims was found. We also have a bottle dump where Hakari was found. Means nothing, but then again it might. Then we have the note in the bottle of zodiac at Paradise Point. we don't know what kind of a bottle it was, could it have been an OLD bottle from a old mining dump?
probably no connections whatsoever... but then again... maybe there is. we need to check... _____________________
from the Keddie murders:..... I wonder if there is a MINE close to where this guy was hunting for bottles, like in HaKari?
Another piece of perhaps vital evidence that Gamberg discovered was in an envelope that was never opened. It contained a tape recording of an anonymous caller to Butte County dispatch.
The call came just after someone discovered a skull and a few bones about 80 miles down the Feather River Canyon in a spot known as Camp 18 about 5 miles from Feather Falls. The discovery came three years after Tina’s disappearance by a man out hunting bottles.
Gamberg shared the contents of the tape with “People” magazine in 2016 when it featured the crime in two magazines and in a news documentary aired on CBS.
The anonymous caller said he was watching the news about the discovery at Feather Falls —down Highway 70 from Keddie. He said, “And I was wondering if they thought of the murder up in Keddie up in Plumas County a couple years ago where a 12-year-old girl was never found.”
Although Smartt and Boubede fled Plumas County shortly after interviews with DOJ, it’s known that Smartt allegedly lived in Paradise at the time of that phone call, according to dmac’s research. Another person of interest also lived in Butte County.
_______________
Camp 18 Butte County is right in the middle of the Sierra Mother Lode of Butte county Area, that place is totally scattered with mines, which all have old bottle dumps.
If I start finding any other flukey stuff with Keddie Murders, I'll start a thread for them. A very interesting case also.

I just bumped into this flukey thing a minute ago. I was looking at something to do with the Excorcist and happened to notice the address
The MacNeil house from The Exorcist is located at 3600 Prospect Street NW in Georgetown. The stairs that appeared in the movie are located just east of the house and run between Prospect Street NW and M Street NW.
means nothing, just thought it interesting there is another mining term. We know that Z went to see the movie, or says he did, on the surface of the Exorcist letter. We for sure know he at least mentions the Excorcist. I wonder if Z knew if those stairs were connected to Prospect street?
